Why I decided to take Udacity's Digital Marketing Nano Degree Program?

Hello folks,

It's me Shrinidhi Udupacurrently I am pursuing final year MBA specialized in Marketing. Being a marketing geek I am interested in latest technologies  especially in the field of marketing and analytics. I keep myself updated to the current trend from various trusted sources. Being a management guy I haven't mastered any technical skills. This is IT era and one cannot survive in the corporate rat race without mastering technical skills. So I decided to master digital marketing skills from scratch. I learnt basic skills of Digital Marketing on my own from sources such as Google Digital GarageGoogle AdWordsMicrosoft Advertising (aka Bing Ads), HubSpot, Google Analytics, CourseraUdemyInternshala Training, etc. I wasn't satisfied with this I wanted to explore further and wanted to do hands on projects for upgrading my knowledge and skills.
Once I was sure that I wanted to build a career in Digital Marketing, I started looking for online and offline resources available for the same. I figured that it is our habit of learning that will keep us in good stead during this hour of massive shift. I thought it would be best bet to learn something ‘hands-on’ from some of the masters in the industry, and possibly have a credible certificate that is recognized by the industry.

It is very helpful when we have problem in understanding the concepts or difficult in cracking the projects. The mentor even regularly will check our learning progress. We have access to discussion forums and direct communication to a mentor through a chat interface which is straightforward and allows us to exchange files in case we need to. Having a mentor who helps you navigate the material and walks beside you when you get stuck, is invaluable.
When it comes to the curriculum, Udacity’s curriculum was co-created with some amazing partners from FacebookGoogleHootsuiteHubSpotMailChimp, and Moz. These players are the best in the digital marketing space.
And finally certifications and career growths, after graduating DMND Program, we will receive a Nano Degree Credential. Also we become a part of Udacity Alumni network. Udacity also provides Career Portal that helps get a job top notch companies in the Industry.
